Today we would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the amazing athletes and families from Champions in Motion Burlington Cheer for spending part of their day serving our community!

As part of their community service project, the team visited Alamance County EMS and helped wash our ambulances and response vehicles. Their hard work, positive attitudes, and dedication to giving back did not go unnoticed.

Community partnerships like these remind us that service comes in many forms, and we are grateful for young leaders who are willing to lend a helping hand. Thank you, Champions in Motion Burlington Cheer, for your support of our EMS crews and for helping keep our fleet looking its best!

We appreciate all that you do both on and off the mat. 💙🚑📣

🚑 Better late than never! 🚑

We apologize for being a little late in sharing our thanks and gratitude to the many businesses and individuals who helped us celebrate EMS Week 2026 last month.

While we were busy responding to 3,098 calls during May, we were also celebrating some exciting accomplishments within our organization. We proudly welcomed 3 new Paramedics, celebrated 1 employee earning his Doctorate degree, and cheered on our Paramedic Team for advancing to the State Competition!

None of our EMS Week celebrations would have been possible without the incredible support of our community. A special thank you to Ferrara's Pizza, Taps & Apps, Texas Roadhouse, Dale's Towing, Blue Ribbon Diner/Village Grill, Danny's Cafe & Catering and several generous private contributors who provided food, treats, and goodies for our crews.

Your kindness and support mean more than words can express. Our crews truly enjoyed every meal, snack, and thoughtful gesture. Thank you for helping us recognize the hard work and dedication of the men and women who serve our community every day.

Meet Jazmin, one of our dedicated leaders making an impact in both Fire and EMS! 👏🚑🚒

With 10 years of service at Faucette Township Fire Department, Jazmin worked her way through the ranks while serving part-time, earning certifications including Firefighter I & II, EVD, and Fire Officer I. Her dedication to leadership, teamwork, and service in the fire field helped build a strong foundation throughout her career before transitioning fully into EMS leadership.

In EMS, Jazmin began with Alamance County EMS in October 2013 and has steadily advanced through the ranks, demonstrating dedication, hard work, and leadership every step of the way. Certifications and accomplishments include EMT, Paramedic, EMS Officer I, EMS Officer II – Operations, and CIT.

Throughout her EMS career, Jazmin has served in multiple critical roles including EMT, Paramedic, QRV Medic, Preceptor, FTO, and now Quality Manager, continuing to help shape patient care, provider development, and agency excellence.

Beyond field leadership, Jazmin has also contributed to the future of EMS by teaching for ACC and PCC EMS Programs, helping educate and mentor the next generation of EMS professionals.

Thank you, Jazmin, for your years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our community and strengthening our agency. We are proud to have you as part of our team! 👏

Today for EMS Week, we recognize EMS for Children Day — highlighting the specialized care, compassion, and quick decision-making it takes to care for our youngest patients. 💙🚑

Children aren’t just small adults — they require unique assessment, treatment, and a calm, reassuring approach during some of life’s scariest moments. Today, we celebrate the dedication of EMS providers who train hard and stand ready to provide exceptional care when children and families need us most.

*EMS WEEK 2026🚑 Deputy Director of Operations introduction*

William began his emergency services career in 2001 as a junior volunteer member with Alamance County Rescue Unit. Over the course of his service, he has held numerous leadership positions including Lieutenant, Captain, Swiftwater Rescue Captain, Assistant Chief, Training Chief, and currently serves as Deputy Chief.

In 2006, William began his professional EMS career as a part-time EMT with Alamance County EMS. He continued his education and advanced through the ranks by obtaining certifications as an EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic. Throughout his career with Alamance County EMS, he has served in multiple operational and leadership roles including QRV Medic, Field Training Officer (FTO), Assistant Supervisor, and currently serves as Deputy Director of EMS.

In addition to his EMS and rescue service, William dedicated 10 years to the volunteer and part-time fire service with Eli Whitney Volunteer Fire Department, where he advanced to the rank of Fire Chief.

William holds an Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Services and a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency and Disaster Management. He is also credentialed as EMS Officer I and EMS Officer II – Operations.

William brings extensive real-world experience, leadership, and instructional expertise to both the classroom and field environment. He holds instructor credentials in Land Search Field Team Member and through the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal in Technical Rescuer (TR), TR Wilderness, TR Vehicle Rescue, TR Water Rescue, Firefighter, and Driver Operator/EVD. He is also credentialed through North Carolina OEMS as a Level I Paramedic Instructor.

Today, we recognize the importance of safety in everything we do. From responding to emergencies on busy roadways to providing critical patient care in unpredictable situations, safety remains at the core of our mission.

Thank you to all of our EMTs, Paramedics, dispatchers, and support staff who work tirelessly to protect not only our community, but each other. Your commitment to safe practices, teamwork, and professionalism helps ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient we serve.

This EMS Week, we continue “Improving Outcomes, Together” by making safety a priority every shift, every call, every day.

Every training, certification, scenario, and continuing education opportunity helps us provide better care and improve outcomes for the communities we serve.

Education is the foundation of what we do — sharpening skills, building confidence, and preparing our providers for the moments that matter most.

We are proud of our EMTs, Paramedics, students, instructors, and field training officers who dedicate countless hours to growing their knowledge and sharing it with others.

🚑 EMS Week is officially underway! 🚑

This week, we celebrate the dedication, compassion, and commitment of the men and women who answer the call every single day. From lifesaving care in critical moments to the everyday support provided to our community, EMS professionals continue to make a difference 24/7.

As we kick off EMS Week, we also want to recognize some major accomplishments within our team!

👏 Congratulations to our newest State Certified Paramedics! Your hard work, long hours, and determination have paid off, and we are proud to welcome you into this next chapter of your EMS careers.

🎓 We also want to congratulate one of our own on graduating and earning his MD degree! This is an incredible achievement, and we are proud to see one of our employees continue advancing in the field of medicine while continuing to make an impact on patient care.

Please join us in congratulating these individuals and celebrating all EMS professionals this week. Thank you for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to caring for others.
