Teacher of the Month - Dawna Gage, Graham High School
Her nomination stated: “Dawna loves her students and makes sure that they know it every day when they walk into the classroom. She builds relationships with students and encourages them to try their best no matter what. She is at almost every event at GHS and is a strong advocate for the campus, district, and all students. She prepares engaging lessons and labs in the classroom for her students to better learn and get involved with the topic they are learning. She is a positive influence on campus.”
Paraprofessional of the Month - Stacye Jonas, Maintenance & Transportation
“Stacye makes sure all our bus riders, drivers, teachers and parents are kept informed and up to date with everything transportation,” said her nomination. “While doing that she also works with maintenance, grounds and custodians! No matter how her day is going she always has a smile and welcoming attitude for everyone!”
