On June 2, members of Ozaukee Central Fire Department's Green Shift spent the day honing their skills with newly acquired technical rescue equipment.
This specialized equipment enhances our ability to perform both elevated and below-grade rescues throughout our response area and allows us to provide additional assistance to neighboring communities when needed.
Continuous training ensures our members remain prepared to respond safely and effectively to a wide range of rescue situations. We are proud of the dedication our firefighters show in maintaining and improving these critical skills.

If you drive by the Grafton Dam this week at night, you’ll notice it has been illuminated red. This is being done in recognition and support of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. This weekend, at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, the ceremony will honor 97 firefighters who died in the line of duty last year and 107 firefighters who died in previous years. Let us remember the commitment and sacrifices the 204 fallen and their families have given.

This morning, the American Legion awarded our very own Angeli Kramer as EMT of the Year for the 2nd District of Wisconsin!

Angeli had previously been awarded EMT of the Year by Saukville Legion Post 470. She was then submitted by the Post for additional recognition to the county-level and then District-level; which she now has received.

Her nomination has now been forwarded for recognition at the State-level. Congratulations to Angeli!
