๐Ÿ€ Grafton got the game-winning shot!

The Historic Grafton School will receive $195,000 from the State Capital Budget for roof repairs, remediation, and critical building improvements.

At the same time, we also scored funding for Phase 1 of the Elm Street Reconstruction project, which will move forward with new pavement, sidewalks, drainage, curbs, and accessibility upgrades next year. Both our applications got approved!

Together, these investments preserve a historic community landmark while improving one of Grafton's most important corridors.
Thanks to State Senator Nathan Manning, Rep. Kellie Deeter, Historic Grafton School Executive Director Carlee Mahajan, and everyone who helped make it happen.

Just like the Grafton High boys basketball team, whose early 1900s win prompted the building of this school and its gym - weโ€™re making layups for our village.

๐Ÿ“Œ Engineering firms interested in Elm Street Reconstruction Phase 1 must submit Statements of Qualifications by July 1, 2026. Contact [email protected] for details.

It's beginning to look a lot like liberty! Shoutout to Magnolia Jackson, a recent Midview High School graduate and SkillsUSA superstar who made the label for these awesome donations jars and put them around town at our small businesses. We even got fireman boots to put out with a letter, signed by Chief Blair, at Albert's Fresh Market. When you see these around town, please drop jingling or folding contributions in and be part of the boom!

Readers are leaders.

Grafton is getting out in front, with Village Administrator Andrew Lipian among the first to sign up for the Grafton-Midview Public Library Summer Reading Program!

As part of America's 250th anniversary, he'll read books exploring American history, government and philosophy, starting with a work exploring the ideas behind America's constitutional republic: the Federalist Papers.

Grafton and its officials are celebrating this historic milestone while promoting learning, civic engagement and one of our town's most treasured assets: our local library!

Stop by the library, sign up for the Summer Reading Program, and join the challenge.

We understand that it is upsetting and concerning to put in the work to get a Hometown Hero banner and not see it displayed. We at the village would like to correct these old mistakes and make sure everyone sees a positive outcome.

And this just in! Main St Grafton raised over $800 through the 50/50 raffle and bourbon sales, while Gehringโ€™s donated $1 from every item sold plus contributions to the Declaration Wall.

The Gehringโ€™s total came to an amazing $1,776โ€”so surprising it had to be counted three times!

That brings the grand total raised during the three-day Revolution celebration between Gehringโ€™s and Main St Grafton to $2,576!

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this effort. What an awesome community!

We have received multiple inquiries on the Splash Pad and wanted to provide an update on it for you. The Splash Pad has a leaking water main valve, which is the reason the water pressure has been low and not enough to work the various stations. There will be some repairs on this coming Tuesday but for safety reasons the Splash Pad must remain closed until the repair is 100% complete.

We are sorry for any disappointment this announcement may cause. Your comfort and safety are our top priority.
