๐ Grafton got the game-winning shot!
The Historic Grafton School will receive $195,000 from the State Capital Budget for roof repairs, remediation, and critical building improvements.
At the same time, we also scored funding for Phase 1 of the Elm Street Reconstruction project, which will move forward with new pavement, sidewalks, drainage, curbs, and accessibility upgrades next year. Both our applications got approved!
Together, these investments preserve a historic community landmark while improving one of Grafton's most important corridors.
Thanks to State Senator Nathan Manning, Rep. Kellie Deeter, Historic Grafton School Executive Director Carlee Mahajan, and everyone who helped make it happen.
Just like the Grafton High boys basketball team, whose early 1900s win prompted the building of this school and its gym - weโre making layups for our village.
๐ Engineering firms interested in Elm Street Reconstruction Phase 1 must submit Statements of Qualifications by July 1, 2026. Contact [email protected] for details.
