April 27-May 1 is designated as Severe Weather Awareness Week. A simulated tornado warning will be held Thursday, April 30th at 2:00 pm. throughout Walsh County.

There is a power outage on the north side. Crews will have the area east of Hill Ave to Highway 17 switched over shortly. They are still working on the rest of the affected area. Thank you for your patience.

During this cold stretch, it is helpful to run your water the diameter of the lead in a pencil to help prevent lines from freezing. This is especially important for mobile homes.
