This afternoon, in the area of The Hills Above PK, we responded to a grass fire with structures threatened, heavy fuel load, and moving at a moderate rate. We quickly halted forward progression and is now 100% contained.

Thank you to the Graford Volunteer Fire Department for mutual aide.

Also, we responded to a small grass fire on the side of the road at Rock Creek Bridge around lunch time. This fire is also contained.
