This morning at 5:40 am, Edgmont Twp Fire Company and mutual aid were dispatched for a building fire in the 3400 blk of Providence Rd. First arriving units found a working fire in a 1st floor bedroom. Crews contained the fire to the room of origin. Thank you to our mutual aid for the assistance.

It was a busy weekend for our volunteers. We started off Saturday with the Opening Day Parade for the . To end the day, the Engine was on display along with many other departments from the area at the event in the Ellis Preserve. Members also handled two emergencies in the township.
Sunday had four calls for service one being called to assist Concordville Fire & Protective Association on a large brush fire. Crews worked for several hours to bring the fire under control.
