2026 pool water requests:
- Call the fire station at 315-287-1537
-Leave a message with your name, phone number and someone will return your call when we can (most of the time it's within a day or two and in the evening as most of our membership work throughout the north country during the day).
-Once a returned call is made they will schedule the water delivery day and time (there are times where we will not be able to provide your request as there may be someone else on the schedule)
-Do not proceed with pool install/liner replacement without confirmation that we placed you on the schedule. Due to multiple pool companies that work in the area installing new pools/liners, pool owners must confirm a date with the fire dept to avoid any scheduling conflicts. The fire dept will only fill one pool at a time.
-We haven't and will not haul water during the week of the Gouverneur Fair or on holiday weekends, to include:
Memorial Day
Juneteenth
July 4th
Labor Day
-Emergency's will delay or cancel your scheduled pool water delivery.
-We haul water to raise money for our department. We are not a paid service that can deliver right away once called. All of us are volunteer and do this on our own time. We are normally hauling water most evenings or days if members are off work and have some free time.
-Also please know that other departments can not haul in our area as it would place our department at a liability risk with their equipment being damaged or if they were injured. We will also not deliver outside our coverage area for the same reasons.
-There are commercial pool water companies in the north country you could use if we are not available. However you will find their prices are double of what we charge.
-Please do not call the members work place or their personal numbers to schedule pool water. The only number to call is 315-287-1537.
-We are currently taking applications for membership. If you wish to become a member please stop at our station or call to proceed with the application process.
