You couldn’t script a better sectional opener.

Trailing 2-1 in the final inning Wednesday night, Goshen Baseball found a way.

Brycen Eaton started the rally. Jaxon Miller delivered the game-tying RBI walk. And with the bases loaded and two outs, Braxton Cline stunned Warsaw by stealing home for a walk-off sectional win.

Final: Goshen 3, Warsaw 2.

Ryen Diaz was outstanding on the mound, throwing a complete game and holding one of the area’s top offenses to just two runs as the RedHawks improved to 20-6 on the season.

Now it’s on to Saturday.

Goshen will face Elkhart in the sectional semifinal following the 10 AM Concord vs. Northridge game.

An unforgettable postseason moment for RedHawk Baseball.
