City of Goshen residents

The city commission met tonight in an emergency meeting to discuss the impending winter storm. This storm is forecast for large amounts of snow. The city will need to have snow plows come through multiple times to keep streets clear. On street parking will be prohibited from Saturday, January 24th at 12pm until Monday, January 26th at 12pm. Vehicles parked on the street will be subject to being towed. We realize this can be an inconvenience but our streets are very narrow and the plows must be able to operate safely.
The city has contracted to have the ends of driveway's cleared after the snow has stopped. Only driveway's on the opposite side of the street from mailboxes will be cleared as the plows push the snow to that side of the road. The contractor has asked residents to mark the sides of the driveway if possible.
