🎉 70 Years. Thousands of Kids. One Special Shirt. 🎉

For 70 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County has been a place where young people can learn, grow, build friendships, discover their potential, and simply be kids.

To celebrate this milestone, we've created a limited-edition 70th Anniversary shirt that will only be produced ONE TIME. Each shirt features a custom design commissioned from a talented artist that tells the story of our Club's history, impact, and growth throughout the last seven decades. Hidden throughout the artwork are nods to our programs, community, and the lives we've helped shape along the way.

👕 Shirts are $70 each 🎨 Custom artwork packed with Easter eggs and historical references ⏰ Limited-time order window closes Sunday at midnight 🚫 This design will never be reprinted

Every purchase helps invest in the next generation.

While families pay just $30 per child per year to attend Club, the true cost of providing a safe place after school, homework help, leadership development, career readiness opportunities, caring mentors, and unforgettable experiences is much greater. That's where supporters like you make all the difference.

When you purchase a shirt, you're not just getting a unique piece of Club history. You're helping ensure local kids have access to the support, opportunities, and encouragement they need to build great futures.

Take a close look at the artwork, see how many hidden details and Easter eggs you can spot, and secure your shirt before the order window closes.

🔥 Orders close Sunday at midnight. Once they're gone, they're gone forever.

Orders will be available for pickup at our Goshen Offices by the end of October. Buyers will be notified by email.

On this day we remember the innocent lives lost, the brave sacrifices of first responders, and the passengers of Flight 93 who were able to fight back. We also remember those selfless acts of kindness and humanity towards one another in the midst of terror.

FDNY Battalion Chief Joseph Pfeifer said in a documentary about 9/11 that “Those little moments of caring for one another were the difference between life and death”.

May we always remember that serving one another is the greatest act of Hope.

A little behind the scenes look at video creation. Part of what we do is tell stories of the impact Club has in our community. Today we began the process of telling a story through video.

Here at Parkside KidsCare, we did an activity that was ALL ABOUT ME! Younger members drew about themselves, and the older members wrote about themselves. After that, each member had the opportunity to speak in front of all the kids and tell them facts about themselves. We were able to get them engaged, and everybody learned something new about each other.

Remembering John Fidler: A Life of Love, Service & Generosity

For more than two decades, Christmas at the Boys & Girls Club of Goshen has meant something very special: the annual Fidler family Christmas party.

For 22 years, John and Lois Fidler made sure more than 80 first and second grade cadets each year experienced the joy and magic of Christmas—complete with a meal, gifts, hats, gloves, SANTA, the Crimsonaires and the unmistakable feeling that someone in their community cared deeply about them.

It became one of our most treasured traditions at the Club and an annual highlight for our kids and staff. But for John, it was never simply about one day at Christmas, it was about teaching his family the importance of doing good for others. Year after year. For kids. For his community. For people he loved.

On August 17, we lost an extraordinary friend and champion of the Boys & Girls Club when John passed away at the age of 87.

He served on various Club boards and was a mentor for many. We were incredibly fortunate that the Boys & Girls Club was one of the places John chose to love.
His impact lives in the memories of thousands of children who attended those Christmas parties and those that have simply walked through our Club doors. It lives in the staff who watched the Fidler family return year after year. And it lives in the example John set for all of us about what it means to truly invest in your community.

John Fidler didn't just support the Boys & Girls Club. He became part of our story.
We will miss his friendship, his leadership, his generosity and his enormous heart. And each Christmas, when our Cadets gather for a tradition that John and Lois helped make so special, we will be reminded of two people who believed deeply that every child deserved to feel loved, celebrated and remembered.

Our hearts are with the entire Fidler family.

Thank you, John, for more than 22 years of believing in our kids—and for a lifetime of showing all of us what it looks like to love a community well.

Your legacy will live on in the lives you touched and the great futures you helped make possible.
