This week is set aside to recognize the dedication of our EMS professionals. Local 1443 is full of highly trained Paramedics, EMTs and Fire Fighters who proudly support our community.

Emergency Medical Service has become an integral part of how Local 1443 members serve. They provide primary Advanced Life Support to the City of Goshen and Elkhart Township and mutual aid ALS coverage to Jackson Twp, Clinton Twp, Jefferson Twp, and Harrison Twp.

To our members, thank you for continuing to go where you are called and serving with all that you have.

The Goshen Professional Fire Fighters are proud to support one of our own as they pursue public service in the political sphere.

Travis Peak has consistently demonstrated integrity, dedication, and a strong commitment to the community—values that define not only an excellent fire fighter, but also an effective public servant.

While Jackson Township may fall outside of our direct coverage area, the qualities Travis brings to the table are universal: sound judgment, a tireless work ethic, and a deep understanding of the needs of working families. His 22 years of experience on the front lines has shaped a practical, solutions-oriented approach that will serve residents well.

We are confident that Travis will represent Jackson Township with honor, transparency, and accountability. We fully support his candidacy for Jackson Township Trustee and encourage voters to consider the leadership and perspective he will bring to the role.

It’s a sad day at Goshen Fire. Today is Firefighter/Paramedic Mike Fairfield’s last day at work. Over the past 4.5 years, Mike has continuously showed great effort in his work and has given exceptional care to the citizens of Goshen. Everyone wish Mike a great career as he moves on to be a Murse (male nurse for those that don’t know). We love you Baby Mike!
