Gorham Fire Police had our monthly training session this week. We performed general maintenance on our traffic light generators. These are the generators we use in the event electrical current to the traffic lights is disrupted.

The wind and trees down on roadways has kept the fire department busy this morning. Fire Police assisted on Fort Hill Road about 09:00 am with this situation of a tree on the wires - that road is cleaned up now.

Sunday was a big day for Gorham High School seniors with graduation in the afternoon and the always exciting senior parade in the evening. Fire Police and Gorham VIPS worked closely together to manage parking lots, intersections and traffic to keep everyone safe. We even had our own little pizza party between events.

Gorham Fire Police personnel were busy from early morning until around 3:00 pm as the road remained closed.

This vehicle ended up on top of a flagpole garden. The flagpole was totaled and the car was in rough shape too. Fire Police managed the traffic driving past the scene.

Truck crash on County Road on 12/18 just prior to rush hour. We had to run one lane and were able to move traffic successfully in both directions.
