🌈 Sharing more from this past week’s Cultural Arts Commission meeting where members worked together to paint the Rainbow Bridge!

💙 After the overwhelmingly positive response to our Food Forest, residents shared their desire for a dedicated space to remember and celebrate the pets who have brought so much joy to their lives. We heard the feedback and we're making it happen!

📍 The Rainbow Bridge will be located at John McCants Veterans Park near the dog park, creating a meaningful place for reflection, remembrance, and love.

📆 Stay tuned for more details as we prepare to unveil the project and share how you can participate during a special National Dog Day celebration hosted by Goose Creek Recreation on August 26!

🐾 Our Goose Creek Cultural Arts Commission has been hard at work! This past week, commissioners gathered to plan an exciting summer of arts and community engagement while also taking on a very special project together: painting our new Rainbow Bridge.

🌈 For those unfamiliar, the Rainbow Bridge is a comforting symbol that honors beloved pets who have crossed over. It represents the place where cherished companions wait until they are reunited with their families someday.
