🏆 Congratulations to the Stratford Knights for their big win Monday night!

Mayor Pro Tem Tekac and I were on hand for the annual game for the Golden Goose!!! Because of region realignment, the game was moved much earlier in the season, and because of 2 inches of rain in an hour on Friday, it had to be moved to Monday night.

Congratulations to the Stratford Knights for holding on to the Goose for another year!!!!

Thank you to Century Aluminum for their sponsorship of the Golden Goose! A male and female from each school will receive a $1,000 scholarship and each booster club receives another $1,000 donation.

📌 The City is updating its Comprehensive Plan, and all Goose Creek residents are invited to attend an open house from 5 to 7pm tonight -- Monday, Sept. 14 -- at the Goose Creek Recreation Community Center (Building G) in Multi-Purpose Room #2.

📝 The Comprehensive Plan is a broad roadmap that guides City leaders in their decision-making. The open house is a chance to learn more about the plan and offer your feedback.

🛼 Skate Night is BACK at Central Creek Park on Friday, Sept. 25 from 6:00-8:30pm

👍 FREE skate rentals will be available courtesy of Glyde Skate Company at limited quantity, so bring your own skates if you own them!

A mobile skate park for bikes and skateboards will also be on-site, with instructors available for beginners.

🎉 Skate Night is free to attend, taking place every quarter. Follow Goose Creek Recreation for upcoming dates!

Check in at the welcome tent to register upon arrival. There is no pre-registration necessary.
