Work is under way to seal the section of road between the Fire Shed & Pilgrims Rest property.
Parts of " Lindemans Corner " have been further widened.
PCA should be congratulated for continuing to lobby council to keep roadworks in the valley as a priority.

Earthworks are well advanced for a section of, just over, one kilometre of Putty Valley Road that is going to be sealed. It will also include new larger drains.
Our thanks to the PCA for their hard work with council to achieve this outcome.
The new sealed section will go from just before the corner near the Trevor Lucas property up to about the bus stop sign.

Re sealing at Judy Hobsons completed.
White gavel now being put on many unsealed parts of Putty Vally Road.
Good to see the people of Putty getting some return for their Council Rates.

We can all thank the PVRAG & the PCA for all their hard work to achieve the following:
Council has finally approved the funding for the works to Putty Valley Road & this should be commencing in approximately a week.
The works to be undertaken are:
Remove cattle grid at Judy Hobsons' property
Widen & reseal the existing old bitumen road from 2.88klm to 3.40klm (past Judy Hobsons' ).
Widen, realign & bitumen seal the road from 8.60klm to 9.75klm (where there are 4 houses near road).
Carry out safety grade to the start of Lilavale Track
Correct drainage, grade & apply gravel surface to the remainder of Putty Valley Road.
GREAT ACHIEVMENT for residents & friends of Putty.
Well done to all involved in this achievement.

The grading of Putty Valley Road was supposed to start last Monday but had to be postponed because of the wet weather.
Here's hoping conditions are right & we see progress this week. Fingers crossed.

Lindemans Corner has been a small victory but Our road is getting very rutted &, yet again, the potholes are getting bigger.
May be time to point out to the council that we are still here!!

Council are now in the process of getting the quotes to fix the infamous "Lindemans Corner".
A lot of activity with tape measures & chin scratching has been observed on the corner of late.
The sooner the better, we say.

A glorious Putty Valley sunrise. We deserve to have it kept this way & not be spoilt by the dust of a car having gone by.

We need as many "Likes" as possible to show Singleton Council we have the people behind us.
We ARE making a difference. So far we have attended & spoken at one council meeting, had a meeting with the Mayor, a Councillor, & two high ranking council employees in the Councils Conference Room, had a visit down Putty Valley Road with six or so people from the council ( including the Mayor & General Manager), have been given confirmation that the infamous "Lindemans Corner" will soon be fixed & a full Council meeting will be held in the Putty Hall on Monday night.
THEY KNOW WE ARE HERE NOW THE MORE SUPPORT WE GET THE MORE RESULTS WE WILL GET.
