Greetings from your former Commander!
It has been a few years since I last spoke to those of you who find time to visit our page!
It has been a great pleasure to see some of you either in person or on social media. I trust your time spent with the Squadron brings back pleasant memories. It does for me!
Although our time together was as a volunteer, I am now reaching out to former 356 Squadron members to pay back from which you gladly partook! Remembering our core values, Integrity First, Service before Self, Excellence in All We Do, and Volunteerism, I reach out to you to give back.
Most of us have moved on in life, working, going to school, finding a significant person to share your life, and some starting a family. The skills that you demonstrated earlier in life as leaders and mentors are needed now more than ever. The volunteer in all of us must live on, through service to others. As former members of 356, you have the experience and skills to become a mentor to others. Please consider finding volunteer opportunities in our schools, places of worship, organizations, or homes for the elderly. We need to remain in service to our community, state and nation!

Hello former 356 cadets and staff. It has been a while! Great things happening with former cadets, acceptance into military academies, command nominations with new CAP squadrons, and several enlistments.
Just would like to say thank you all for what you have done, are doing, and what you all will achieve. It has been an honour to be a part of such a great group of men and women in service to their community, state and nation!

Happy Thanksgiving, former Cadets!
I continue to hear from many of you and I am so impressed with the quality of people that were cadets of 356.
A Black Knight is not a nickname, a mascot, an answer to a trivia question. No, it is a state of mind. Great former leaders of 356, such as Major Kozak, Major Fields, and Captain Lora, led lives of service to others and of integrity. I trust that you, the former cadets of 356, continue the livestyle that a Black Knight symbolizes, that of courage and loyalty to friends and family. I endevoured to do my best to carry on the great traditions of 356. I will always treasure the opportunity to work with the best cadets I have had the privilage to command. The lessons I learned from you will last a lifetime.
