Meet Troy Chisolm, one of our panelists for Minds at Work! 🧠
Troy B. Chisolm is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 30 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health and hospital administration. A Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (LFACHE), he is widely respected for his ability to lead complex organizations through growth, transformation, and operational excellence.
Currently, Mr. Chisolm is the Founder and Managing Principal of New Vision Coaching and Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm dedicated to empowering leaders and organizations through transformative coaching, strategic advisory services, and operational optimization. His work focuses primarily on behavioral health systems, though his leadership expertise extends across broader healthcare environments.
He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital and as the founding CEO of Pinewood Springs, a behavioral health facility he launched amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also held executive roles with Prisma Health, Cone Health, CHRISTUS Spohn, and Trinity Health, consistently driving financial turnaround, improved patient experience, and stronger staff engagement.
Mr. Chisolm serves on the Board of Directors for ACHE of Middle Tennessee and TN Voices, alongside decades of board leadership with organizations like NAMI, Mental Health America, and the American Hospital Association.
