Good Afternoon. I have had several people call wanting immediate housing, they have been told we have empty apartments.

The Goodland Housing Authority DOES NOT have any apartments available at this time. We are taking applications, however, there are around 10 people on our wait list for 1 bedroom apartments and several applications we are waiting to be returned.

ANYONE is welcome to complete the application process. All of the paperwork can be downloaded from our website and returned to us. You MUST have an application turned in completely to us before you will be considered for the wait list.

GOODLAND HOUSING AUTHORITY will be hiring someone to do all yardwork for the summer at both of our housing locations. Person to be hired must be over 18 and have a legal KS drivers license with a clean driving record. Person must have mechanical experience and be able to maintain equipment, also drive a pickup and pull a trailer. Job includes w**deating, edging, w**d spraying, and sprinkler repairs and all other yard work as assigned.

Goodland Housing Authority will be taking applications for a full-time housekeeper/custodian. This position will be 7am-4pm M-F. Cleaning common areas of the Towers, and cleaning vacant and newly remodeled apartments. Benefit package includes sick, vacation, holiday pay; KPERS; insurance available for a minimal cost. Are you skilled in various maintenance tasks such as flooring, plumbing, electrical work, and painting?

Requirements:
Previous experience in maintenance, including flooring, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
Strong knowledge and expertise in these areas.
Ability to handle repair and maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. There is paperwork required in this position.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Monday to Friday 7am-4pm. On call every other weekend required.
