Goochland Leadership Enterprise The GLE hosts 14 educational sessions to introduce citizens to Goochland County. GLE is a program organized by the Goochland Extension office.

Goochland Leadership Enterprise (GLE) classes introduce Goochland residents to their county by providing information on topics such as the county’s history, county departments and services, agriculture, economic development and the budget process. Participants are introduced to both country and state government officials. GLE hosts 14 sessions, typically every other Thursday, at 7:00 PM from mid September through mid March with one daytime meeting at the State Capital. Sessions are held at different locations in the county to provide further insight into Goochland's history and environment. The registration fee is the only cost to the participant and covers materials and meals during Orientation, Day at the Capital, Dinner with the Supervisors and the Graduation Dinner.
