The Goochland County Ag Fair is officially open, and we can’t wait to see you! Grab the whole family and head over for a day packed with community fun, great food, and entertainment.

Come cheer on our incredible local 4-H kids as they get in one final practice run before the state fair.

The Ag Fair is taking over the Old GES Field Next Saturday, September 12th, and it’s packed with everything you need for the ultimate weekend outing.

Whether you’re coming for the food, the tunes, or the prize-winning farm animals, there’s something for everyone:
🍔 The Ultimate Bite: A massive line of food trucks serving up everything!
🎶 Music: Excited to have the Joey Tippett and the Highway Ramblers from 12:00-3:00pm!
🐄 Livestock & Country Charm: Get up close with top-tier local cattle, goats, sheep, and more at the livestock shows.
🎈 Endless Fun: Games, kid-friendly zones, and local artisan booths to explore.

Goochland County Parks and Recreation along with Goochland Pet Lovers are thrilled to announce the First-Ever Adoption Day 5K! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just want to enjoy a fun day out supporting local shelter animals, this inaugural event is for you.

When: Saturday, October 10, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Where: Hidden Rock Park (1920 Hidden Rock Ln, Goochland, VA)
Registration Fee: $5

Run, jog, or walk the scenic course through Hidden Rock Park to help raise awareness for shelter pets, then stick around for our post-race celebration!
