Girls Scouts Troop #5082 visited our club today explaining their upcoming trip to Savannah, Georgia to visit the birthplace of Girls Scouts!

They even brought a basket of the famous Girl Scout Cookies, that created a heated auction amongst Lions of who would have the opportunity at some Thin Mints! 🍪

GNLC is proud to support another youth organization in achieving their goals!

Service Workday Meeting - members took part in preparing “Blind date with a Book” for elementary students. “Blind date with a book” is an engaging, surprised-filled experience of an individually wrapped book with additional craft items such as: bookmarks, pencils, markers, stickers and treats all while encouraging reading!

GNLC Service Chair Melissa Cunningham and members Jeri Biddle and Deidra Voigt presented the books with Gonzales Elementary Assistant Principal Cindy Polonco to distribute to children as seen fit!
