Paid internship opportunity:

Job description:
Working in warehouse department and with licensed PCAs and CCA’s. Performing warehouse duties and assisting PCA’s with pest monitoring and soil/tissue sampling.

Qualifications:
Ability to follow directions and work closely with Pest Control Advisors.
No Experience necessary: but some would be preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
Scout fields for pest (vegetables, grapes, strawberries)
Crop protection (Trial Work)
Product delivery
Performing, Soil, Water, and Petiole sampling
Warehouse maintenance

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Walk for an extended period of time (90%)
Walk on uneven ground
Squatting, kneeling
Exposure to different Climate Conditions

Green Valley Farm Supply is looking for a Safety and HR Administrative Assistant to support our Safety and Human Resource Department. The administrative assistant will support managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. This person is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Schedule/ transport employees to clinic visits for safety required medical testing/ exams (cholinesterase, drug/alcohol testing, employee injuries, etc.)
Process, handle and distribute registrations received thru DMV.
Maintain records off all employee annual testing.
Assist with HR/Safety trainings (create sign-in sheets, provide training material to trainer, recordkeeping (track employees trained and follow up with incomplete trainings)
Help maintain safety and Human Resource department filing.
File all WC related injuries and manage active cases thru consistent communication with injured employee and WC Adjuster.
Assist with the management of Health insurance company benefits for active employees.
Assist with the management of companies 401K retirement plan for active employees.
Assist with printing and distributing Employee time records to appropriate supervisors for approval.

Qualifications:
Administrative experience preferred.
Ability to manage workload effectively including plan, coordinate, organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in diverse workforce.
Proficient in Microsoft office software
High School Diploma/ GED equivalent
Commensurate with education and experience
