Day 2 of EMS Week.
We promise we tried to come together for a group picture. We planned it and everything... the funny thing about EMS... we make plans and the Angels of EMS laugh...
We have been busy 🦫 beavers today. We love what we do, even if it means many abandoned coffee cups and half eaten meals. We gladly abandon what we are doing to run to your side. It is a great privilege to be able to do this as a profession. Thank you Gonzales, we are a great service because you empower and allow us to be. ❤️

Happy EMS Week!
For the next week we will be celebrating the people/providers that bring this community Emergency Care at all hours and under any conditions. These are special people. They train, they respond, they care.
We want to thank everyone who helped make Waelder Station a possibility. This new station creates an upgrade in space and capacity to serve the northern part of our county. This provides us the ability to train more providers and stage a greater response to this part of the county. We take nothing for granted and will honor our community by continuing to chase excellence.

Recently we participated in a Process improvement drill between 2 hospitals and Gonzales County Emergency Service District 1 with the goals of alignment and increasing speed to care and improved patient process. Better outcomes for the people of Gonzales County is our number one goal. We are blessed with the privilege to serve you and we do not take that duty lightly. 💚🙌 When seconds matter, teamwork saves lives! Our STEMI Drill with Gonzales Healthcare Systems was a huge win for emergency preparedness! 🏥🚑

A STEMI Drill puts emergency response to the test—from on-scene treatment at Gonzales Healthcare Systems' ED 🚑 to Gonzales County EMS transport, hospital triage at DeTar Navarro ER and immediate cardiac intervention in DeTar's Cath Lab. The goal? Faster, more effective care—because every second counts! ⏳
