SNACK! has begun but you can sign up at any time throughout the summer. This program provides each participating child with free groceries for 21 meals each week from mid-June through mid-August. Groceries include fruits, vegetables, milk, protein, cereal, beans, grains, and snacks. Families can enroll their children and pick up food from their choice of distribution sites located throughout the county. The 12 Collection Centers and Solid Waste & Recycling Main Office will be closed on Friday, June 19 for Juneteenth. The Main Office is located at 28 County Services Road, Pittsboro.

The Collection Centers will open on Saturday, June 20 at 7:00 am. The Main Facility will open on Monday, June 22 at 7:00 am.
