Old Waynesborough

Old Waynesborough Tour Historical Buildings, 4 miles of Hiking & Nature Trails, Fishing & Canoeing. Hold a Wedding, Reception, Class or Family Reunion, Party or Event.

Old Waynesborough is a Non-Profit Organization ran by the Old Waynesborough Commission. The park is sitting on most of the original site of the town of Waynesborough. The structures were not original from the town but moved from different parts of Wayne County, renovated and opened to visitors to represent a period of Wayne County history. Also the Commission operates a Visitors Center and over 4

miles of hiking and nature trails. "The mission of the Old Waynesborough Commission is to preserve the history of Wayne County by promoting an appreciation of the culture of its citizens through the operation of a historical village and by conducting special events and to create a living classroom highlighting the fauna and flora of the area".

Old Waynesborough would like to give a special thanks to Allen Grading Company for their donation & delivery of 20 tons of crush & run to repair the entrance to our field parking lot. Also thanks to Board Member Macon Massey & Volunteer Bill Dunham for their hard work leveling up all that gravel. The entrance is so much better!

The Trail Restrooms are now open for the season from 1:00 on Fridays till 5:00 on Sundays. During the week we have a portable toilet located in our field parking lot for use. Thanks!
