The NAACP Candidate Forum in Fremont last evening went great.
There was standing room only, all 14 candidates showed up, and they answered questions from the attendees.
These type events help to educate Seniors citizens regarding issues that concern us, and they present an opportunity for us to become familiar with the candidates who are seeking our support, and our votes.
It is the purpose of the Wayne County Senior Democrats to promote and support the Democratic Party at local, state and national levels, by providing information and education, and through citizen and voter encouragement and involvement, as broadly as possible among persons aged 50 and above.
So, let’s show up, speak out, and provide support to our candidates at the forum events that will be coming up in the next few months before voting begin.
