NCDOT has three upcoming projects in Wayne County:
■ Berkeley Boulevard Widening: Widening and improving 2.4 miles of Berkeley Boulevard (U.S. 13) from New Hope Road to Interstate 42
■ Wayne Memorial Drive Widening: Expanding the corridor from The Maxwell Center to the Interstate 42 interchange to four lanes with a raised median
■ West Grantham Street Road and Bridge Reconstruction: Reconstructing a half-mile of West Grantham Street in Goldsboro and replacing the street's bridge over the CSX railroad.

The Juneteenth Unity & Heritage Festival is from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at The HUB in Downtown Goldsboro.

To accommodate the festival, portions of Downtown Goldsboro will be closed to vehicle traffic from 1-8 p.m..
