OUR INITIATIVES

HUNGER - We address hunger through

The WePack program, which sends nutritious weekend food home with students,

Neighborhood pop-ups bring hot meals and connection to where families live,

Seed-to-Plate education and gardens that teach children to grow, cook, and share fresh produce,

Through our Farm-to-Table Sustainable Food Collaborative, where we convene and connect small far

mers with community partners; provide training, marketing support, and host farmer spotlights/pop-ups

YOUTH - RBP Christian Academy and Childcare Center(RBPCACC) anchors our youth work. RBPCACC is a 5-STAR center accepting NC state vouchers and providing reliable, high-quality, early learning for parents, while helping children build school readiness in a safe, stable environment. We also invest in mentoring, safe-space enrichment, life skills, and kid-led cooking labs tied to our gardens. Youth learn teamwork, leadership, and healthy habits through hands-on projects and events. SMALL BUSINESS - We support adults through an entrepreneurship track focused on food-related business owners, coaching on permits and compliance, ServSafe and food safety, menu costing, branding, and pop-up/market readiness, turning skills into steady income. WHAT YOUR GIFT CAN DO:

$10 can fund one WePack weekend bag, or cover garden seeds/soil.

$25 can stock literacy/manipulatives for a week at RBPCACC, or buy ingredients for a small cooking lab.

$50 can supply after-school snacks/materials for a week, or cover training materials for one farmer or entrepreneur.

$75 can support teacher certs/CEUs for center staff, or co-fund a ServSafe scholarship for business owner.

$100–$150 can provide up to 5 hours of tutoring with materials, deliver a branding/menu-costing review for a food business, or provide a homeownership/financial readiness workshop.

$250 and above can fund a neighborhood pop-up of 75+ meals, host a meetup connecting small farmers with schools, hospitals, and local retailers, or offset a family’s voucher co-pay/materials at RBPCACC. Give and vote today on MyGivingCircle. Every donation keeps food on tables, children learning and safe, small farmers connected to neighbors, and families on a real path to homeownership and stability.
