Golden View Classical Academy is a classical, liberal arts K-12 charter school in Jefferson County, Colorado, modeled after the highest performing schools in Colorado. We believe education should be about giving students the tools to pursue a life of goodness and truth, and elevate the beautiful. As a classical program our students master literacy, learn Latin, participate in Socratic seminars, st

udy primary source documents, and examine virtue as demonstrated in good literature throughout the written history of mankind. Our program emphasizes explicit phonics, uses Singapore Math, and incorporates the arts and music as a fundamental part of education. Golden View is very proud of our Student Ambassador Program, which is meant to welcome new upper school students to the school. Our student ambassadors are dedicated 10-12th grade students who apply to the program and are recommended by teachers. They are each paired with 3-4 of our new upper school students to help them get settled into life at Golden View. They run a New Student Orientation the Saturday before school starts where they teach lessons to the new students on culture, rules, uniforms and more! Our ambassadors then spend the first Semester of school making sure the new students are finding their way around the school, getting involved in clubs and activities, attending teacher office hours, and generally getting comfortable with life as a Sentinel. New this year, our ambassadors are also working with alumni mentors to set their own leadership goals and plan for success after Golden View.

Today, our campus was once again alive with the energy, excitement, and joy of our wonderful students. We are so grateful to have everyone back!

Our incoming seniors are already making their mark on Golden View! This week, they’re adding some extra color and school spirit to our campus by painting the parking spaces. We can’t wait to see the finished designs and all the creativity they bring to our school!

Today, a few very special Golden View graduates stopped by to present their senior gift to the school!

This amazing figure called "A Taste of Death but Once" was designed by Megan Andersen and brought to life by Nicholas Campbell, a Golden View graduate from the Class of 2023 who now works as a professional woodworker.

We are so grateful for this beautiful and meaningful gift and for the lasting connection our graduates continue to have with Golden View.

Congratulations to Golden View's 7th Grade Sentinel Girls Basketball Team on an incredible "Just Play Sports" season!
Despite finishing the regular season with an 0–8 record, the Lady Sentinels showed determination, resilience, and heart by battling their way into the championship round.
