Happy Pride Month!

Pride is a celebration. It's a protest. And it's a reminder that progress has never happened because people stayed quiet, made themselves smaller, or waited for permission to be who they are.

At a time when this administration and its allies are telling LGBTQ+ people to hide, shrink, and be less, Pride reminds us to do the opposite: to be visible, authentic, and unapologetically ourselves.

I'm proud to be running for the Minnesota House as a le***an woman. Not because my identity is the most important thing about me, but because representation matters. When people see themselves reflected in leadership, they know there's a place for them in our democracy, too.

Every Minnesotan deserves the freedom to love who they love, be who they are, and pursue their own version of happiness with dignity.

I'll keep fighting for a communities where everyone belongs, every family is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

What a weekend!

I had the chance to spend time with so many friends, new and old, at the Minnesota DFL State Convention in Rochester.

It was a great reminder of the incredible people across our state who are fighting every day for a stronger Minnesota.

We’re fired up, ready to do the work, and ready to win this November.

One of the many things we both agree on is how important voter contact is. That’s why you’ll see us out on the campaign trail together this summer and fall knocking doors, talking with neighbors at community events, and working to deliver wins up and down the ballot here in District 43 and across Minnesota.

Guns are the leading cause of death for children in America. We should not still be here.

That’s why I’m proud to be a Moms Demand Action 2026 Gun Sense Candidate because Minnesotans deserve leaders willing to actually take action.

After everything Minnesota has been through this year from the political assassinations of Melissa, Mark, and Gilbert Hortman and the attempted assassinations of John, Yvette, and Hope Hoffman to the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School, it’s especially shameful that meaningful gun violence prevention legislation failed to make it across the finish line at the Capitol this session.

Minnesotans deserve real action: stronger mental health supports, responsible gun safety measures, and policies that address the full scope of this crisis — from mass shootings, to su***de, domestic violence, and community violence.

We will hold those who failed to act accountable at the ballot box, win the DFL trifecta back, and come back next session ready to get this done.

Today was a big day! I officially filed to run for the Minnesota State House and earn the opportunity to represent District 43A.

It was great to join fellow House Caucus candidates from across the state as we all took this exciting step together.

I’m running because I believe in leadership that shows up, listens, and builds broad coalitions to get things done.

From protecting public education and defending our freedoms to making sure working families can thrive, this campaign is about building a stronger Minnesota for everyone.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and belief so many of you have already shown throughout this campaign. Now, onward to the next phase! 💜
