With the probability of severe weather coming today, we just wanted to remind everyone of where the storm shelter is in Golden Valley. The shelter is located through the front door and in the back of the building down the stairs. The building will remain locked unless weather patterns change. Reminder that there are not lights in the shelter if it is needed.

City Clean Up Week
Dumpsters located south of GV Fire Hall

Please pile strictly wood items beside the dumpsters. No weekly garbage, tires, appliances (fridges, freezers, ranges, etc.), batteries, paint, oil, liquids of any kind can be thrown in the dumpsters.

If you need assistance moving large/multiple items from your yard to the dumpsters or have questions whether an item can be put in the dumpsters, please call City Hall 983-4488. Our council members have offered to help residents get their yards cleaned up!
