There will be a memorial service for Chief Eric Whites mother September 13th at 2:00 p.m. It will be held at the Golden City Park Building. Everyone is welcome to attend! Family is asking everyone to bring a dish for a potluck style meal because Momma White used to Love potlucks! ❤️

We would like to advise the residents of Golden City Fire District not to do any burning until we get much needed rain fall. We have respond to some grass/brush fires that are spreading very quickly. Also remember if something does get out of hand do not hesitate to call 911!

The Golden City Fire Department would like to wish our deepest sympathy to our Fire Chief-Eric White with the loss of his mother. We all knew Mama White and she was well loved thru out the fire house. She will be missed by all and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during the loss of there loved one.

The annual fire district meeting is Aug 21st at 1 at the council chambers at city hall.

We would like to congratulate all the winners of the raffles we done and also thank everyone who participated and the ones that donated so we could do it thank you for all the support during golden harvest days!

The department would like to let the community know we will be set up Friday and Saturday at Golden Harvest Days. We have several raffles going on that we will draw for Saturday evening. We will have our annual Homemade Ice Cream for Donations. We will also be setting up with fresh made Cheeseburgers, All Beef Hot Dogs, Nachos, Cold Sodas, and Desserts! We can't wait to see everyone!
