In this month's water bill, we included a blank water application with the explanation below. This has created some confusion that we are asking you to pay for an additional water deposit. We are not asking you to pay your deposit again. Sorry for the confusion.

"Updated Water Applications: As we have been updating city files, we have found many properties have outdated information. You will find a blank water application included with your monthly utility bill. Please complete these applications and return to City Hall by end of month. Thank you! "

KEY POINTS
Isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and Wednesday afternoon/evening
A strong upper trough from the Gulf of Alaska will arrive midweek (Wednesday/Thursday), bringing a majorpattern change.
Rain amounts of 0.25-0.50 of an inch East Side, 0.50-1.00 inch inland west side valleys and 1-3 inches along thecoast. Flooding impacts are not expected.
Heavy mountain snow 8-12 inches common above 5,000 feet, and 18+ inches possible at Crater Lake. Wintertravel impacts are expected, especially by Thu morning.
Widespread peak wind gusts of 40-50 mph (potentially 55 mph) are expected along the coast, in the ShastaValley, and from the Cascades eastward on Wednesday afternoon.
Risk for frost/freeze (low temps in the low to mid 30s) is elevated for west side valleys, especially the Illinois Valley, Friday morning.

UPDATED 3/12/26 11:35 am- BOIL ORDER LIFTED.
3/10/26 - The City is doing a leak repair at the Gold Hill Estates at 742 2nd Ave on Wednesday, March 11th. A boil order is being put in place for your protection. This only affects the homes at 742 2nd Avenue. Notices have been posted at effected properties.
