During the October meeting of the Board of Trustees, it was brought to the Trustees' attention that there are multiple households that have one (or more than one) chicken within village limits. Ordinance 90.11(B) has direct instructions for any residence that would like to possess livestock and how to go about doing so.

The July Village Board meeting will be held on 7/11 at 7:30pm due to the normally scheduled meeting falling on a holiday!

Seward County Gives 2023 presented by the Seward County Legacy Fund seeks to bring us together as one cohesive community during a week-long giving campaign designed to increase funding and awareness for local nonprofit and civic projects. They aspire to create easy access for donors and other community investors supporting county wide initiatives. This year there are two entities from the Goehner area that are raising funds. The Goehner Volunteer Fire Department and the Mound Prairie Cemetery Association! Please consider donating to one (or both) of these organizations May 1- 5th.
