On January 26th at the Gloversville Free Methodist Church Center of Hope many volunteers and donations that were collected from the community were distributed to almost 40 different homeless individuals. We thank everyone for their donations of items and food. Keep watching as we will host another event in the coming weeks and there will more ways to volunteer. Thank you again!

Donations will be accepted Tuesday the 25th between 1-6pm at the Center of Hope. If you need an alternate time to drop off items please private message us and we will do our best to set something up.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!! As you know it’s going to be brutally cold these next few days. We are collecting blankets, coats, gloves, hats and hand and feet warmers and socks!! All items can be dropped off at 33 Bleecker St Center of Hope starting tomorrow at 1pm.
We are going to have a coat and blanket drive but before that can be done it is emergent that we have these items to offer anyone that comes in and needs them.
We are trying to offer as much as we can in the immediate moment.

As we have already had several code blue nights recently and we are still not able to open our doors we want to remind everyone that DSS has funding to help put up homeless in hotels to get out of the cold.

You MUST contact them directly and be prepared to sign whatever forms they need from you but they do have that funding and ability to house until we have a solution locally.

Hello everyone!

We know that it is beginning to get cold at night and normally our shelter would be opening November 1st but unfortunately we still do not have answers as to being able to open this season yet.

We are continuing to fight for those in our community who need shelter during the winter and will report all updates on this page as they become available.

Thank you all for your continued support of this much needed service.

DUE TO WARM TEMPS THIS WEEK THE CODE BLUE SHELTER WILL BE CLOSED. THIS IS OUR FINAL WEEK FOR OPERATION THIS WINTER. WATCH FACEBOOK FOR INFO ON THE SHELTER THIS FALL!
