Due to our boys' baseball team winning last night and moving on to the District finals at Logan Hocking Schools, along with the Trimble track team competing on Thursday at Ross Southeastern. We will have a two-hour early dismissal on our last day of school, Thursday, May 28th. This is an exciting time, and we would love for as many students and staff as possible to go support our athletic teams.

Trimble Elementary held an art show inspired by the artwork created in Ms. Sanker's Art classes on Friday, May 15th. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands-on activities, including “Make Your Own Nature Journal” led by Mike and Raya from the Rural Action Environmental Education Team; contributing to a collaborative owl painting using True Pigments (Acid Mine Drainage) oil paint with guidance and expertise from Michelle Shively MacIver; and helping paint a face cut-out mural created by Sarah Fisher of Bridge Builders. Additional coloring activities were also available throughout the space.

A special thanks to teacher Katie Albers for providing students with free books by author and illustrator Dav Pilkey to take home from the art show. The books were a huge hit with attendees of all ages!
Thank you to the Trimble staff and community members who volunteered their time to help with setup, lead activities for our families, and assist with cleanup at the end of the evening. Your support helped make the art show such a special and successful event!
