We're proud to see one of Gloucester's own receiving regional recognition!

Congratulations to Zoll Vineyards for being featured in the latest CoVa BIZ Magazine article, Destination Farming, highlighting how agritourism is helping Coastal Virginia farms and producers create unforgettable visitor experiences.

As Gloucester's first winery, Zoll Vineyards has become a destination where award-winning Virginia wines, farm-to-table cuisine, and warm hospitality come together. Owner Frank Zoll's vision of creating a welcoming gathering place for friends and families is helping showcase the very best of Gloucester to visitors from near and far.

Congratulations to Frank Zoll and the entire Zoll Vineyards team on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to have you as part of Gloucester's growing agritourism community!

Tourism isn’t just about a brand or carefully cultivated social media feeds… even though we love ours and are so proud to show it off. Our look, logo, and lingo are tools to invite conversations about our beautiful county. This week our brand went to the North Carolina coast where Susan Ammons, our Marketing Supervisor, was happy to tell other vacationers all about Gloucester - at the beach, the pool, the village bookstore! What we have, what we are planning, and how they can find us! With many families and beach goers saying ā€œwe had no idea there was so much thereā€. Well now you know!

Don’t forget… Gloucester swag can be found at the Annex Gift Shop - 6504 Main Street

Moments like that are what make tourism so cool!

The Marketing Supervisor maybe out of office, but the creativity didn’t take a vacation! The Gloucester tourism team understood the assignment!

Step back in time at Buck’s Store Museum, located in the heart of Guinea.

Much of the original building was built in 1880 and operated as a country store and post office for decades. This community staple has, and continues to, act as a meeting place for watermen and their families, memorializing the tradition grit, community, and fellowship.

Buck’s Store Museum hosts monthly educational talks, youth programs, and the tastiest of them all, Saturday’s BBQ lunch! Did you know that the BBQ is an original recipe from Buck himself, found locked away in his safe after his passing? From 11-1:30, stop by to fuel your Gloucester adventure and then continue along with the Guinea Heritage Driving Tour! It’s the perfect way to step one step closer into your love of coastal Virginia.
