So glad to have an operating dock back after a long absence.

Pier Season 2022 is questionable. There is some movement (FINALLY) being made in regard to the Magnolia Pier, specifically the float and the ramp. The City needs to cough up 40k just to design it…That does not include the cost to build and install. That price has yet TBD, who would dare to guess what those figures may range? 😩 How long will design and funding, then building take? Good questions. Since we are already into March and the slow City wheels are just beginning to churn, one could guarantee, being realistic, that nothing will be completed by Memorial Day. Let’s hope we don’t go a second full year without a ramp and float - such a kicker after all the money and time waiting on the pier rebuild itself.

Who thinks we will get a float and ramp next year, 2022?

At the beginning of the summer, we announced there would be no float or ramp, some stated that info was incorrect, but we would never post rumor here, only fact (as evidenced. )

The Harbormaster will not guarantee it will be done for 2022.

UPDATE: There will be **NO FLOAT AND NO RAMP** this year and none for the foreseeable future...

The Pier that once was, is no more.

The pier held up against the battering watering waves and high winds. The only damage appears to be a single aluminum ladder!
