🀍 You Don’t Have To Do This Alone 🀍

Are you helping care for a parent, spouse, or loved one?

Maybe you’re juggling work, kids, appointments, medications, meals and trying to make sure someone is checking in on Mom or Dad.

We see you.

Hi, we’re Mikayla and Kyle, the owners of True Grace Home Care. We started this company because we genuinely believe every family deserves compassionate, dependable care for their loved ones. As a locally owned home care company, our mission is simple: to treat every client like family and provide the kind of care we’d want for our own loved ones.

Many families wait until they’re completely overwhelmed before reaching out for help, but home care doesn’t have to mean full-time care.

Sometimes it simply means having a trusted caregiver stop by a few hours a week to provide companionship, help with personal care, prepare meals, assist with errands, help with vacuuming under hard to reach places or simply offer peace of mind for the family.

At True Grace Home Care, our caregivers are carefully selected, CNA trained and genuinely passionate about caring for others. This isn’t just a job to us - it’s an opportunity to serve families with kindness, dignity and compassion.

We are a private-pay home care company which means families can choose the schedule that works best for them.

✨ Our services include:

β€’ Companion Care
β€’ Personal Care Services
β€’ Respite Care
β€’ Medication Reminders
β€’ Meal Preparation
β€’ Light Housekeeping
β€’ Transportation & Errands
β€’ Mobility Assistance
β€’ Social Support
β€’ Post-Hospital Support
β€’ Safety & Fall Prevention
β€’ General Home Management

🌱🚜 Iowa planting season is officially here, which means tractors, planters, sprayers, and combines are back on the roads doing their annual β€œ0 to 25 mph” tour πŸ˜…

A few quick reminders to help everybody get home safe:

πŸ‘€ Be aware
Farm equipment can appear quickly over hills, around curves, or just beyond that β€œI can totally pass here” moment.

🐒 Slow down
Rural roads become extra busy during planting season. A little less speed gives you a lot more reaction time.

πŸ“ Keep your distance
Give farm vehicles at least 3 seconds of following distance… and even more space for larger equipment.

🚫 Pass with care
Only pass when visibility is clear and the road is straight. Farm equipment may swing wide before making a left turn into fields or driveways.

🀝 Be patient
Farmers usually will pull over when it’s safe, but soft shoulders, narrow roads, and deep ditches can make that risky for heavy machinery.

Patience costs a few minutes. Unsafe driving can cost a whole lot more ❀️

Caught behind a tractor? πŸšœπŸ’¨
Take a breath, ease off the gas, and give it some space. Chances are, following that farm equipment for a couple of miles only adds a few extra minutes to your trip ⏰

What can turn dangerous fast is tailgating, risky passing, or expecting heavy equipment to β€œjust move over.” Rural roads often have soft shoulders, steep ditches, and narrow lanes that make pulling aside unsafe for large machinery 🌾⚠️

Farmers are trying to get home safely, too. A little patience on the road helps protect farm families, drivers, and entire communities ❀️

Slow down. Stay alert. Share the road. πŸš—πŸšœ
