We have some very disappointing news to report. The learning center did not get enough children enrolled to financially open it’s doors. My wife and I invested lots of money and time into this. We held out hope till the very last minute that things would turn around. To the parents that did enroll your child or children, we are so very sorry that we can not be of service to you and your child. To the employees that we were hoping to come aboard, we are truly very sorry. We had a lady that was so excited to help this community out that she was coming aboard to do STEM teaching with the kids. We thank people for all the likes on Facebook and the support and encouragement we received. We have plans to have a huge garage sale soon and to put the school up for sale. If you know anyone that is interested in buying a school and the event center please let us know.

We need everyone’s help. This is extremely important. Several people that mentioned they wanted to enroll their child at this center has not done so. We have to know what are enrollment numbers are going to be in order to provide great quality care for the kids here. It’s very difficult to plan for our opening date coming up May 29th when we still don’t have an accurate number of kids and their ages. If you are still planning on enrolling your child, we need you to message us back with their age and a commitment that you will enroll your child. The deadline for this commitment will be Tuesday.

Coming Soon to Glenwood!!!

We are excited to announce the opening of The Glenwood Learning Center in May of 2018. We are currently taking applications for enrollment in May for children ages two months to twelve years. This learning center will have a structured curriculum that will have your child ready for school when the time arrives. This child care center will provide before and after school care services. Applications can be picked up and returned to the following locations; Glenwood Chamber of Commerce, Rock Creek Insurance, Nick Fowler Auction/Reality office, and Diamond Bank.

The mission of The Glenwood Learning Center is to provide safe, affordable, high quality child care for the families of the Glenwood community and surrounding areas. Our center is designed to meet the needs of children in a safe nurturing environment. A place where parents, educators, and children work together to create a great learning environment that stimulates curiosity, preserves a sense of wonder, and encourages creativity. Our goal is to strengthen the bridge between your work and family life by creating a special place that supports both.

The child care center is being opened by Justin Cantrell and his wife Tracy. Justin is a native of Amity. Justin and his wife are both registered nurses with a combined total of 28 years of experience specializing in nursing care of children. While the Learning Center will be a new endeavor for them they are both excited and eager to further their experience and bring quality care to the children of Glenwood and surrounding areas.

Hours of operation will be 6:30 AM till 6:00 PM Monday - Friday.
