🚧 Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th, the Glenwood Police Department parking lot will be closed for construction. 🛠️Here is what you need to know:

📅 Duration: Wednesday, June 17th through the morning of Friday, June 19th

🚫 Access: The parking lot will be completely closed to all traffic.

👮 Services: All police services remain fully operational during this time. You can contact our office at 712-527-9920. For all emergencies please dial 911.

Glenwood Residents - The trees debris dump site will be open from 6:30am until 2pm each day this week.

Residents in the unincorporated areas, if you aren't disposing of the tree debris on your property or a neighbors burn pile, there are a few options available at the property owners expense.

Loess Hills Regional Sanitary Landfill
Council Bluffs Recycling Center

**The Pottawattamie County Recycling Center outside of Oakland Iowa, DOES NOT accept Tree Debris/yard waste.

We do ask property owners in the unincorporated areas intending to burn their tree debris to contact Mills County 911 Communications at (712) 527-4871.

The City of Glenwood will be taking storm related tree debris from Glenwood residents at the City Ball filed on South Vine Street all this week from 6:30am- 2pm.

UPDATE - The tree debris dump site will be open again on Sunday (6/7) from noon to 4pm.

Glenwood residents, the City will allow storm related tree debris to be dropped off behind the Vine Street Ball field from 10am to 5pm today (6/6).

Please follow all directions from on site personnel to ensure this process flows smoothly and safely.

He has been returned home safely.

This dog was found out the Glenwood Middle School. The dog is save with one of our officers. Call 712-527-9920 to claim or if you have information about the owners.

The City of Glenwood will hold it's FY 2027 Proposed Property Tax Levy Public Hearing at 6 pm on March 24th.

The hearing will be at City Hall, 5 N Vine Street Glenwood, IA 51534.
