7 PM UPDATE: Great news, the severe thunderstorm watch for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa has been allowed to expire early. More great news...other than a couple of isolated showers and tiny storms, we're looking at a cooler, drier evening ahead. Enjoy!

* Until 945 AM CDT.

* At 906 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles east of Underwood to 2 miles west of
Macedonia to 3 miles southeast of Silver City, moving east at 50
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Numerous reports of 55-60 mph winds were relayed from
Omaha, in addition to quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Omaha. This storm has a history of producing 60 mph winds.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
