At Community Builders, we know that a strong community creates a stronger economy. We provide information, analysis, assistance and training to support the many local officials, developers, realtors, planners, and engaged citizens who are actively working to build stronger economies and more livable communities. Located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Community Builders is a growing organization managing a variety of projects throughout the American West.

Community Builders was in Leadville this week to kick off the public review period for the One Community Plan - Leadville and Lake County's first-ever joint comprehensive plan.

More than 60 community members joined us for an open house to explore the draft Plan and share feedback on key priorities such as workforce housing, climate resilience, and infrastructure modernization.

We are so grateful for the time, ideas, and energy the community continues to bring to this process! The Plan is on track to be considered for adoption by the City and County this summer.

Silverton, Colorado and CB have partnered on many projects together. In our most recent Story of Impact, we revisit the Silverton Compass Master Plan, a ten-year, community-produced document identifying goals and actions for the town.
