Make a trip to beautiful glenwood springs! We have had tons of snow so skiing is great not only at sunlight but aspen and snowmass too! There is also a new hot springs in town that is absolutely beautiful! Paralleling the Colorado river it has a number of different pools all different sizes for you to enjoy! After a VERY rainy month of May, today it finally started to feel like summer! Warm sunshine on your skin, birds singing, everything is green, green, green! The flowers are planted. The patio is set up for outdoor entertaining. The hanging solar lights are up, and the house is sparkly clean after being power washed. READY TO GO!! I believe that Lonely Tom, our resident turkey has gone back up the mountain as I have not seen him in several days. I'll miss the big boy but hope he finds some bird friends!

Spring appears to be here. Flowers starting to bloom and lots of green shoots coming up everywhere. It's supposed to be in the high 60's this weekend. Come visit! Reserve a long weekend now!!!

Even though the town of Glenwood doesn't have snow right now; Sunlight Ski Resort is rockin and also all mtns in Aspen and Snowmass just up the road. Come to Glenwood!!! You can still ski BUT you can also bike the many bike paths, hike and enjoy everything Glenwood has to offer!!!

having a nice snowfall in Glenwood tonight. The snow was almost melted in town so this is good timing. Plenty of snow on sunlight mtn though. Book for spring break now!!

Snowed last night but melted as of now. Still cold though and forecasts call for a white Christmas! A family coming from Hawaii tomorrow-rhey want to experience snow! ! Wishing everyone happy holidays!!!!

I cannot believe that Saturday is November 1st!! Today it was in the 60's and was sunny and absolutely beautiful in Glenwood. We have had one of the best Fall seasons that I can remember. The colors have been glorious. There are a lot of green trees still around. We did however have a frost Tuesday night and I noticed that my huge maple tree is beginning to lose its leaves in earnest. It is always one of the last trees to lose its leaves. I am still raking in March!! There are still bookings available for November and December. Tell your friends to come visit Glenwood!!

Nice gentle rain here today. We are definitely having a late summer. It was in the 80's all last week. The colors are definitely changing though. It won't be long now. Come for a visit and enjoy the Fall!

Fall is starting to come on fast! The colors are definitely changing and there is a definite "nip" in the air in the mornings. Nights are cooling off nicely which lends itself to blissful sleep! Great time of year to bike ride the many trails in Glenwood or just hang outside in the sunshine when its not too hot. There are lots of new outdoor dining spots in town. Downtown is hopping! Book now!!

Today's gratitude...I had another wonderful family stay last week and they were a delight! They just wrote the most awesome review about their experience and I am so grateful for the people I have met on this journey. Everyone I have met that has stayed at Kaki's cottage have been fabulous and I feel like I have new friends! Summer is coming to a close; hopefully not TOO soon but it has been a great one and Fall is promising to be beautiful. Come to Glenwood and enjoy the colors!

Get ready for Fall colors!! Take a trip to Glenwood in September or October and see the beautiful fall colors. I admit I am not ready for summer to end but I love the start of each season. The mornings are feeling a bit chilly...quite invigorating!!! Book now!!
