This week, we recognize National Police Week β a time to honor the men and women in law enforcement who serve their communities with courage, compassion, and dedication every single day.
To our surrounding law enforcement partners, thank you for always being willing to answer the call, back one another up, lend a hand when it is needed most, and stand together through both the difficult moments and the everyday challenges of this profession. The trust, friendship, and teamwork we share do not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful to serve alongside you.
Whether it is answering calls in the middle of the night, helping someone through a crisis, standing beside us on difficult scenes, or simply being there when our community needs help most, your support and teamwork matter more than words can express. We are proud to work alongside such dedicated people who care deeply about the communities they serve.
The Glenwood City Police Department would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the people and agencies we work beside each day. From neighboring law enforcement agencies, dispatchers, fire and EMS personnel, correctional staff, social workers, tow truck operators, and so many others β the list of partners who help serve and protect our community is long. None of us do this job alone.
Police Week is also a time to remember and honor the officers across this country who gave their lives in the line of duty, and to recognize the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every day.
Thank you to everyone who serves, supports, and stands beside one another in the mission of helping others.
To our fellow law enforcement officers and your families β this video is for you. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the burdens you carry, and the commitment you show to your communities each and every day.
