⚠ UPDATED Road Closure Alert: Town of Glenville ⚠

Maple Avenue (CR #29) will be closed between Ronald Reagan Way (CR #14) and Alplaus Avenue (CR #16) from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm from Tuesday, July 28 to Friday, July 31, AND from Tuesday, August 4, to Thursday, August 6, 2026 for the replacing of five cross culverts. Local Traffic Only

Northbound: West on Freemans Bridge Road to north on NYS 50 to east on Glenridge Road to Maple Avenue (CR #29)

Southbound: West on Glenridge Road to south on NYS Route 50 to east on Freemans Bridge Road to Maple Avenue (CR #29)

⚠️ You wouldn’t run a red light - don’t ignore a flagger.

We continue to hear about motorists harassing, ignoring, or even striking flaggers in work zones. These are real people doing their jobs to keep traffic moving safely. When you ignore their directions, you’re putting our crews’ lives in danger.

Please take this seriously.

Maple Avenue (County Route #29) will be closed between Freemans Bridge Road and Ronald Reagan Way (County Route #14) from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, Thursday, July 16, and Friday, July 17, 2026 for the replacement of two cross culverts.

The Town of Glenville Supervisor has declared a State of Emergency effective Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM through Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 7:00 AM due to the pending snowstorm.

🚫 On-street parking is prohibited during this time.
🚗 Any vehicle parked on the roadway may be ticketed and/or towed.
⚠️ Residents are urged to limit travel and use caution if driving is absolutely necessary.

We are out picking up Christmas trees. We will continue through the end of January.

Place your tree to the edge of the road, do not have anything on it as we put them through the chipper. No tree bags, lights or stands.
