Today we have the honor of celebrating a truly remarkable woman, Mrs. Wanda Spinks, on her birthday! 🎉🎂❤️
Wanda is a lady who has touched countless lives throughout the years. Well known in the community of Meddlety near Summersville, she was often considered the neighborhood mom. Her door was always open, and neighborhood children knew they were welcome to stop by for a visit, a warm meal, a kind word, or simply the comfort of being in her presence.
In February of 1963, Wanda married the love of her life, Walter Spinks. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering commitment. When the time came to begin a new chapter and leave the farm they had worked so hard to build, they made that decision together, just as they had faced every stage of life—side by side.
Wanda was the very definition of a successful homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her home and family, and she had a special love for flowers and cooking. Those who knew her best will tell you she could make the finest biscuits this side of the Mississippi! Her talents, hard work, and loving nature made her home a place where everyone felt welcome.
Today, Wanda and Walter reside together at Glenville Health and Rehabilitation, sharing a room and continuing to show everyone around them that true love never fades. Their devotion to one another serves as a daily reminder that love conquers all and endures through every season of life.
Wanda is a role model to many, a respected lady, and a beautiful soul whose kindness, strength, and grace continue to inspire those around her. We are blessed to know her and have her as part of our family and today we celebrate her.
