We are proud to send members of the Glenvil Volunteer Fire Department west to assist with the ongoing wildfires in Nebraska. Our firefighters are answering the call to help protect communities, property, and natural resources during this challenging time.
We are grateful for their willingness to step up and serve wherever they are needed. Please keep them, all first responders and people helping out at these fires, in your thoughts and prayers for a safe deployment and return home.

Rosebud BIA, Rosebud VFD, Mission VFD, Norris VFD, White River VFD & Wood VFD all sent trucks to the Kilgore fire.
Wood SD Volunteer Fire Dept sent a truck to the fire by Kilgore

โThe BKR Task Force has sent five (5) fire trucks from Ainsworth, Raven, Long Pine, Bassett and Newport to the fire in the Halsey-Dunning area this evening and expect them to remain there until containment is reached and crews are released. Ainsworth and Springview are also assisting at the fire south of Kilgore tonight.โ
*It was also a reported that Gordon, Rushville and Hay Springs firefighters are being sent to the fire near Oshkosh.
