Summer Fest is finally here! Join us at the Glenview Chamber of Commerce's 50th Annual Summer Fest today at the Glenview Metra Station! ☀️

Northfield Township will be out during the day (9am–3pm) connecting with neighbors, having fun in the sun with kids activities, enjoying local art, and great food. We are also thrilled to share that the Northfield Township Food Pantry is the door donation beneficiary for the After Sunset part of the event (6–10pm) featuring Liz Berg & Duo and headliner Soda! 🎶

Come for the fun, stay for the music, and help feed a neighbor. See ya there! 🍉

Northfield Township will be at the Glenview Chamber of Commerce's 50th Annual Summer Fest on Saturday, June 13 at the Glenview Metra Station and we want to see you there!

Stop by our booth from 9am to 3pm and visit while enjoying family activities, local art, great food, and all the summer fun the season has to offer.

A huge thank you to the Village of Northbrook, Illinois and the Northbrook Community Commission for inviting Northfield Township and the Food Pantry to be part of last week's Flamingo Friday Kick-Off! 🦩🦩🦩

We had a wonderful time meeting residents, sharing information about Township and Food Pantry programs and services, and connecting with so many members of our community. We were also incredibly grateful for the food drive held during the event, which generated a generous donation that will help support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

We loved being part of the Flamingo Friday Kick-Off and are already looking forward to next year!🦩🦩🦩

Thank you to the Glenview Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals Group (YPG) for holding their June meeting at the Food Pantry!

We were delighted to welcome members, provide tours of both our current and past Food Pantry spaces, and share more about the work being done every day to support neighbors facing food insecurity. Even more exciting was the opportunity to brainstorm ways we can work together to make an even greater impact in our community!

This meeting also served as an early kick-off for the YPG Summer Food Drive, which will run from August through September. We are incredibly grateful for YPG's ongoing partnership and commitment to helping local families access nutritious food and essential resources.

The 39th Annual Community Paint-a-thon is coming up on Saturday, September 12, 2026!

The Community Paint-a-thon (PAT) provides exterior painting free to low-income individuals 60 and better, veterans, and the specially-abled. The program offers dignity and housing security to homeowners and enables them to live independently in their community by restoring the exterior of their homes. This mutually beneficial program provides volunteers an impactful and engaging experience to make a difference in the community.

Applications are due back by 07.01.26.
