Have questions about state government or need help with a state-related issue? Join me for a Community Town Hall on Tuesday, September 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Curtis Hall & Arboretum (1250 Church Road, Wyncote).

This is an opportunity to learn about state resources, ask questions, share your concerns, and discuss the issues that matter most to Cheltenham Township. My staff will also be available to assist with state programs, services, and constituent matters.

Join the Elkins Park Library and the Friends of High School Park for International Observe the Moon Night! 🌘🌗🌖🌕🌔🌓🌒

We'll start off at 7:00 PM with a talk by NASA Solar System Ambassador Ann Marie Schmiedekamp. Immediately following the talk, we will have two activities in the parking lot: moon viewing and crater creation. Bring your telescopes and enthusiasm for the cosmos and messy science!

Update 2am:
Old York Rd is now open.

Update 5pm:
Due to the size of the tree, the significant number of utility lines that were entangled in the tree, as well as a utility pole that needs to be replaced, Old York Rd will remain closed throughout the evening and into the overnight hours.

Original post:
Old York Rd (PA Route 611) is currently blocked both northbound and southbound at Ashbourne Rd due to a large tree that fell and brought down power lines blocking the roadway. Please avoid the area. Washington Lane and New Second Street can be used as north/south alternates.

As a reminder, my office will close today at 12pm. You can catch us at the Growning Greener Townhall at Springfield Library later tonight at 7pm; otherwise, we will be back in the office on Friday the 28th!

Our office will be closing at 12pm this Thursday for a veterans advocacy training. We will reopen on Friday, August 28th!
